Set up in late 2011, IMM is a Brazilian company with international expertise. Its structure results from a joint venture between the investment and development company Abu Dhabi, Mubadala Development Company and the U.S. firm WME/IMG, in the sports, entertainment and ticketing business.

In sports, IMM owns a whole range of events, including South America’s largest tennis tournament Rio Open, Rei e Rainha da Praia — a popular beach volleyball tournament — and a Bowl Skating World Championship, which is part of the summer events promoted by Brazil’s leading free-to-air TV channel Globo.

With extensive expertise in this business, IMM produces UFC events and has produced NBA’s pre-season basketball games, the Volvo Ocean Race, the Megarampa World Skateboarding Championship and a range of golfing events supported by the Professional Golfers Association — PGA.

In the entertainment business, IMM is involved with shows, concerts, food & dining events and musicals, always partnering with leading players from the international showbiz.

It is a business partner of Rock World S.A., which owns the Rock in Rio brand, it sealed a joint venture with Cirque Du Soleil for tours in Brazil and owns the Taste of São Paulo, the world’s best food festival. It has recently created a Family Entertainment division to produce family shows and Broadway’s major musical performances.

The first show was the musical My Fair Lady, in August 2016. In 2017, IMM will produce the musical Singin’ in the Rain, with première scheduled for August.
