Founded in 2011 and acquired by the investment and development firm Mubadala Investment Company PJSC (“Mubadala”) in 2015, IMM is a Brazilian entertainment, sport and ticket sales business company.

In entertainment, IMM owns the Taste of São Paulo, the Brazilian version of the world’s best restaurant festival. It is a business partner of Rock World S.A., which owns the Rock in Rio brand, and a joint venture with Cirque Du Soleil for tours in Brazil.

It has recently set up a family entertainment division to develop projects focusing on Broadway’s major musicals and family shows. The first show was the musical “My Fair Lady,” in August 2016. In 2017, IMM produced the musical “Singin’ in the Rain.” In the live music business, a partnership with the record label Som Livre and the TV channel Rede Globo resulted in the country music festival Festeja Brasil and, in 2018, the magic of Christmas will land in Rio de Janeiro with the theme park Uma Aventura de Natal (A Christmas Adventure).

In sports, the company has Rio Open, South America’s largest tennis tournament in a joint venture with IMG; the acclaimed beach volleyball tournament Rei e Rainha da Praia (King and Queen of the Beach); and UFC, a global icon of fighting sports. With extensive expertise in this business, IMM has produced NBA’s pre-season basketball games, the Volvo Ocean Race, and a range of golfing events supported by the Professional Golfers Association — PGA. Its sports portfolio also includes Go Cup, the biggest children’s soccer tournament in Latin America.

In the digital world, IMM boasts TUDUS, its online and offline ticket sales platform for IMM and third-party events. Through TUDUS, it runs some important projects, such as the sale of tickets for Cirque du Soleil, UFC, NBA, Rio Open and more than 35 theater rooms in Rio and São Paulo.
